![]() ![]() There is no height requirement for Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Laugh Floor before approaching the station to exit the ride. Finally, your vehicle takes you just above the entrance to Monsters, Inc. You then advance to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin where you will pass a window that gives you a glimpse of the ride. You exit the mountain and then make your way toward the Carousel of Progress. As you advance, you will enter an area where you can see projections from the ride. You will pass by a view of the lift hill where it’s possible to see a train climbing on either side. As you enter the mountain, you will see a sign that features the Space Mountain logo. This is my family’s favorite part because you get a sneak peek of the ride. The tram then heads toward Space Mountain. Tomorrowland Speedway is up next where you will get a great look at the loading area, and down a little farther, parts of the track. Then, you will pass a window that looks down into Mickey’s Star Traders souvenir shop. The TourĪfter boarding your vehicle, you will pass through a tunnel above Stitch’s Great Escape and view a model of the “Progress City”, or E.P.C.O.T. Each car seats four people two are facing forward and two are facing backward. The tram is in sections and each section contains 5 cars. The loading platform is also a conveyor belt that moves at the same speed as the tram so it is easy to board. You will step onto a steeply inclined, moving conveyor belt to reach the loading area. You will find the loading station in the center of Rocket Tower Plaza, directly beneath the Astro Orbiter attraction. Disney does not offer FastPass+ but there usually is not a long wait time. There is no height requirement so your entire family can enjoy it together. It takes you around, and through, the Tomorrowland section of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. The entire ride is elevated, slow-paced and is great for all ages. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, aka TTA PeopleMover, is a narrated ten minute ride. In August 2010, the name was changed to Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, as it is today. When it reopened, the name was changed to Tomorrowland Transit Authority. It was closed again in April 2009 when Space Mountain underwent a major refurbishment. It was built to resemble the PeopleMover attraction at Disneyland in California. The ride was closed during the spring of 1994 for a massive refurbishment. The WEDWay PeopleMover opened at the Magic Kingdom on July 1, 1975.
