I have spent a lot of man hours and work into perfecting this head, the only reason I am selling it is becuase at the time I was going to use it I was doing two sylinder heads and my other head got finished before this one so this is going up for sale. ![]() ![]() Also the valves have all been polished and refurbished along with cryotreating, and the combustion chambers and exhaust portshave been polished to near perfection to prevent carbon build-up, afterall if the carbon has nothing but smooth surfaces to grab onto it's not going to be able to build up like it would in the factory casting. This manifold is good for an NA application but where it's trully going to shine is in a forced induction application, for the simple fact that it's aimed at making more top-end power than low-end, charge velocity in this head isn't exactly stellar at low rpms, but in the higher portion of that band you're going to see serious improvements. The intake side has seen an overall size increase of 20%, and the floors of the ports were purposely left slightly roughed to deter "pooling of the fuel". For example on the exhaust side I did a high port, exactly like the high flowing b16 head, and then opened it up further. Now for some of it's features, this port and polish work I have done here is a reflection of some of honda's better technologies. I have been doing mild port and polish work for a lot of my friends cars and use our local machine shop to make sure all of my numbers are even, so you can rest assured this puppy is tested to ensure good even flow. Just looking at this, I am almost ashamed I am selling this head and not swapping it into my own car.
